Hi, I'm Kristen “Kitty” Hovatter, a Licensed Graduate Marriage and Family Therapist. I believe the best therapy is about seeing the whole person—and the whole family—in a connected, compassionate way. I specialize in two primary areas: supporting military families navigating the unique stresses of service, deployment, and reintegration, and helping families who are parenting neurodivergent children (including those with ADHD, Autism, etc.). My goal is to foster understanding, resilience, and effective communication within the home. I also work with those struggling in the wake of leaving a high-control group, focusing on identity recovery, boundary development, and complex trauma healing. I am a dedicated LGBTQ+ ally and provide an affirmative, welcoming space for all sexual orientations and gender identities. Importantly, I offer a non-judgmental space for those of all faiths, including specific experience and competency in supporting clients who practice the Wiccan faith. I am committed to helping my clients explore the connection between your mind, body, and relationships to achieve true, lasting well-being.

Kitty will be leading a new round of TheTherapeutic Writing Group Series beginning in December and is accepting new clients.
