Hello! My name is Paul, and I believe that providing safe, nonjudgmental support for each client, honoring their unique story and experiences, is the foundation of counseling. My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, relational, and strengths-based, and I am committed to creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and valued. Working together, my goal is to help you to discover and bring out your best self, and to help you navigate life’s challenges.

Together, we’ll explore how your identity, culture, and environment have shaped your journey.  Then we can work toward creating balance, empowerment, and self-compassion so that you can move forward with greater confidence, purpose, and joyfulness.

I integrate a variety of evidence-based approaches that honor both the science and art of healing, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), NarrativeTherapy, and the Gottman Method. I believe in a trauma-informed and holistic approach to counseling, encouraging you to pay attention to and enhance your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. I welcome and am happy to work with clients from all traditional and non-traditional spiritual and/or religious traditions, practices, and beliefs.

I am passionate about working with couples, as well as adolescents and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, or feeling marginalized or undervalued. I am also especially interested in helping men who are struggling with issues around fatherhood.

I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC), and I completed my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Towson University. I have also completed Gottman Level 1training.

I hope that we can work together to reclaim your narrative, strengthen your connection to self and community, and move forward with intention.
