Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) in Maryland who supports adults and couples navigating life's transitions related to career, relationships, parenting, retirement, or rediscovering purpose. I provide a safe, collaborative space to explore change, process past experiences, and build confidence in the path ahead.
Rooted in empathy and curiosity, I help clients identify patterns, clarify goals, and develop tools to feel more grounded and connected. I believe therapy offers an opportunity to pause, reflect, and realign with one's values.
My integrative, trauma-informed approach draws from evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for unhelpful thought patterns, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for emotional regulation, and Mindfulness-Based practices for self-awareness and compassion. For clients processing trauma, I incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Processing Therapy (TF-CPT) to support healing and emotional balance. These evidence-based approaches complement each other effectively—EMDR helps reprocess traumatic memories while TF-CPT builds cognitive skills to challenge unhelpful beliefs, creating a comprehensive path toward recovery.
When working with couples, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Solution Focused techniques to strengthen communication, trust, and connection. EFT helps couples understand the emotional needs and patterns underlying their conflicts, breaking negative cycles and building secure attachment. This research-backed approach creates lasting change by deepening emotional bonds and helping partners respond to each other with greater understanding and compassion. Whether working individually or with couples, I tailor each session to combine practical tools with deeper emotional insight for meaningful, sustainable transformation.
I am committed to providing affirming, culturally responsive care and welcome clients from all backgrounds
